Best candidates, carefully selected!
Our au pairs undergo a thorough screening process, ensuring you can welcome an au pair into your home with confidence. They are screened by our global partners, meaning that all candidates we present to you are ready to start their Dutch adventure. To ensure a complete au pair profile, the au pair must provide the following documents:
- Introduction letter & photos - Each au pair submits an introduction letter, photos, and a detailed application form. Some au pairs even provide an introduction video, allowing you to get a first impression easily.
- First Aid & Au Pair training - All au pairs have successfully completed a First Aid & Au Pair training before joining your family.
- References - Each au pair provides various references from their childcare experience, such as babysitting, tutoring, or involvements at sports clubs. A character reference may also be provided.
- Medical check - All our au pairs have done a medical check by a professional doctor or expert.
- Criminal record check - A local background check is conducted in the au pair’s home country, where they must have a clean criminal record.
- Visa & flights - Together with our international partners, we will assist the au pair in preparing for their placement in the Netherlands. We ensure that all au pairs have the correct visa and that flights are booked.
