At Au Pair Holland, we support both our au pairs and host families. Throughout the year, we organise a variety of events to connect au pairs with one another and help them get the most out of their cultural exchange experience.
Introduction Days
During our introduction day, au pairs meet each other for the first time and begin the cultural exchange that is at the heart of their year in the Netherlands. They join the How to Survive the Dutch workshop, get a fun introduction to Dutch culture with a typical Dutch lunch, and receive practical preparation for their exchange year. The day is all about connecting: in a relaxed atmosphere, they get to know each other and often form their first friendships.
Community events
In addition to the introduction day, we regularly organise outings throughout the year. This gives au pairs the opportunity to keep meeting each other, share experiences, and build a network. Together, we create a warm community where everyone feels supported and connected.
